Boston University has a very unique campus, bothBrightBiology
Boston University has a very unique campus, both architecturally and personally. Coming from the north east I basically knew what to expect weather wise and with the city atmosphere. But if your coming from a small town and you are not prepared for a city aspect, then BU just isn't the college for you. Everyone has their comfort zones and the preferences that allow them to study and work comfortably. Even though BU has an amazing city aspect of campus and there isn't a large amount of actual campus-y like area.(ie. no quad) We terriers make up for it in academics and collegiate pride.

Question
I really can't standQuite BrightBiology
I really can't stand it here. There is no campus, no school spirit, and an unfriendly student body. To add to this, I don't feel safe here. I will be transferring.

Question
I am graduating from Boston University this springSuper BrilliantBiology
I am graduating from Boston University this spring with a biology degree. This school has been a horrendous disappointment. Some programs are good, in the smaller schools, but the College of Arts & Sciences is not just a joke, but also a bad one. No organization, the administration is outright evil. Very importantly, STUDENT HEALTH at BU is DANGEROUSLY INCOMPETENT, if you don't pay attention, they'll prescribe you something that makes you worse, or leak your confidential medical records (which are inaccurate since they can't even keep track of the services provided)they invade your privacy. The school uses its students as cash cows, very little academic fervor, it's just a way to get an extremely expensive piece of paper. The school does not stick to academic standards. About a third of the students are brilliant kids who were rejected from IV league schools for whatever reason, they are there to make BU look good. The bottom half of the school is composed of people who are dumb as rocks, but have lots of money. This brings down the student body, the inertia of the stupid people is impossible to overcome. ALSO, BU practices grade deflation, so don't expect a good GPA, and the distribution requirements are a pain.
