I love this school. I graduated from a community college and got into the cmt program and am completely satisfied. My teachers are great and they and my classmates are all on a first name basis. I learn so much everyday and the discussions in class are fantastic, way better than my last school.

The surrounding area is ok and traffic is not usually bad. There are always things going on in the school. Plays, events, exercise classes, art exhibits, etc. last Friday I saw people playing volleyball, (a net was set up by the school) soccer, frisbee and flying kites! This was not school sponsored just another day at neiu.

Overall I feel this school is what you make of it. No, there aren't dorms but I feel very close with the people I am in class with and feel very welcomed by the students and activities. Plus there's free exercise classes!
