Hey, you seem pretty genuine, someone I can talk to. I’m planning to apply to Boston, and I was wondering if I could ask you some questions if that's alright with you. -Tammy |

The higher ups at the school seem to treat you more like an ATM than a person. If your family suddenly finds itself in financial difficulty (my dad died one semester,) don't expect any need based financial aid. The school prefers the performance based approach; how they expect anyone to perform well academically after a death in the family is beyond me, but the financial aid system at BU in general is borderline offensive.Social class permeates the entire school—unspoken, denied, ignored, the atmosphere reeks of spoiled kids' and their sense of entitlement.
