The BC reputation and alumni network are great. They are what got me my first job away from school (I worked at BC after finished my grad work). However, I found the coursework boring and lacking in practicality (Ex: Gender in Education class spent at least two weeks defining gender). I felt as though I gave BC $32,000 and they gave me a degree. That's it.

My classmates were immature and petty. While I wouldn't say this is a rule at BC, the expense and ease of the Education school leads me to believe it's where people who aren't really read for the prime time go to gather another degree.

All talk and no action

was something that came to mind often when working on group projects.

I'm glad I went to BC…mostly because I know that it's not the perfect place everyone says it is. I worked with undergraduate students while I was there and came across many problems. I will not be sending my children there.
