I have met some brilliant people here, but many waste their lives drinking on the weekends. Mostly everyone is focused on material things—how much money you have, how expensive your clothes are, getting the best job so that you can earn the most money. The people here are not friendly. I personally think that if you're a minority, it's easier to make friends because they seems to cling onto each other, even if they are the minority. The university in general is very nice. Good food. The dorms are pretty awful unless you get into one of the old hotels or one of the brownstones. Professors are usually very helpful. The class work is pretty heavy, and BU is stressing grade-deflation, but teachers are more willing to give you a better grade if you come to talk to them, get extra help, and show improvement. The one thing that I do like about the school is the Catholic Center. The campus ministers are awesome! There's a lot to do here to stay active in your faith.
