Cornell is definitely the place to go if you want to feel that you have accomplished much in the four years ou are here. As a senior on my way out, I feel that I have grown academically and socially because of the breadth of education I have received here. Yes, Ithaca is in the middle of nowhere, but that can be a good thing, i.e. you can commiserate with the people who are from real urban areas, and as trivial as it may sound, develop strong bonds of friendship based on just that. Cornellians on a whole are very friendly and quite social. As in every Uninversity, especially a research one like Cornell, you will definitely find some stick-in-the mud type people, but hey, when you go out and party, you wont see them anyway, so dont let them ruin your fun!
