BU has a veryQuite BrightPolitical Science
BU has a very diverse student body and there are a lot of opportunities to get involved, which makes going to such a big school a lot easier. You will not be coddled, so your academic experience will mostly be what you make of it.

I love BU. Its a great place to learn and have fun and the city of Boston is a great college town. BU is a fan of grade deflation though, so you may take a hit in the GPA but with the scholar and honor that goes with the University it won't make that big of a deal down the line.

BU is a great place given that you like where you live. I had a miserable time freshman year living in a second-rate dorm on a floor where there was a some hostility (it was all female). This year, though, I live on a great floor in a nice dorm and I love it. Pray that you get placed on a good floor, or it will seriously hinder your social life.

Classes were always great for me, especially the upper-level ones where the information is less broad and more specific to my major. Professors, contrary to popular belief, generally want to help students and are easily available outside class. I have relationships with professors that I had last year that I still keep in touch with.Come to BU if you're an independent person since this place is so vast. It's essential that you find your niche, be it athletics, academics, or even performing.
