If your parents make over $300k a year,Quite BrightEconomics
If your parents make over $300k a year, you are a minority in the big picture of America or your daddy own a factory over in China, then THIS PLACE IS FOR YOU. If you do not fall into any of these catagories, go somewhere else - maybe BC will take you. This place sucks, it has an ivy league price with a community college feel. Don't waste the best 4 years of your life.

Question
My comment will be atypical as I amEducation
My comment will be atypical as I am an international student and this survey is geared to nationals. I just stayed in Boston for a year and a half but got the most of that experience.

As a present university professor I was required to at least have a master's degree and work toward a PhD. This master's program help me get in USB university as staff member.Advice? The ususal: work hard, always aim high, do your best according to your abilities and limitations.

Question
As with most things, you should look atBrightBiology
As with most things, you should look at what kind of school you are choosing to go to - if you want an urban open campus with great academics and a large student population, choose BU - you will not regret it! BU is currently undergoing some major remodeling issues - new gym, new life science, new arena, new housing, remodeled brownstones, and upcoming is a new computer science building and law school! BU does have it's downfalls = freshman housing isn't the nicest, the campus is long and narrow, and there isn't much grass, but overall, BU is a great place to learn. The student body is very liberal and open-minded. Everyone interacts in a friendly way. You will run into snooty people occasionally but that is expected since bu is an expensive private school. There is a large gay population, which the student body seems to be proud of.

Most of the classes are moderate or even smaller and the food is great.Come here if you want to experience a liberal education with a liberal student population.
